SUMMARY:Independence Day
DESCRIPTION:The school is closed at both campuses for Independence Day. Since July 4 falls on a Saturday this year\, the national holiday is celebrated the day before\, on Friday\, to give people who are normally off work on Saturdays a chance to celebrate. There are no classes in celebration of Independence Day\, a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

DESCRIPTION:The only way to predict the future is to create it.\n🎉 Congratulations! You did it! Now it’s time to celebrate everything you’ve accomplished! After months of hard work\, dedication\, and perseverance\, your moment to shine has finally arrived. Let’s come together with your fellow graduates\, families\, and instructors to honor your incredible accomplishments and the bright future that lies ahead! \nGraduating Programs\nGraduates of the Medical Assistant; Medical Billing Specialist; Medical Office Administration With Billing and Coding; Medical Billing\, Coding\, and Business Essentials; Computer Technician Networking Specialist; and Web Application Design and Development programs who completed their programs by June 30\, 2026\, are the participants in this ceremony. Active students or externs after that date are ineligible to participate but may be eligible to attend the next ceremony\, which we expect to be sometime in September 2026. \nThe ceremony will take place in the Hilton Long Island/Huntington\, 598 Broad Hollow Road\, Melville. The phone number is 631.845.1000\, and the website is at Hilton Long Island/Huntington.\n \nGuest Tickets\n🎟️ Space is very limited and to ensure we can accommodate everyone\, each graduate is permitted up to two guests\, and admission will be managed through a strict ticketing system. Tickets are required for entry (no exceptions). Graduates will receive their tickets when picking up their cap and gown. \n👶 Please note: Children may sit on a parent’s lap\, however\, any child who occupies a seat will require a ticket. \nIf you would like to request additional tickets\, a waitlist will be available. Please email Kayla Perrone. Extra tickets (if any become available) will be distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis after the R.S.V.P. deadline. \nDiplomas\nShould you choose not to attend\, your diploma will be mailed to you or become ready for pickup at the Levittown reception desk upon request. \nHonor Society Induction\nStudents with distinction will be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society today. SUMMARY:Radiologic Technology Entrance Exam
DESCRIPTION:The Health Education Systems Incorporated (HESI) Admission Assessment Exam helps predict the likelihood of success in the Radiologic Technology program and is one of the requirements for admission. \nTo register for the HESI test\, please contact Arlene Gokberk or phone her at 516.559.4247. \nCandidates must be registered in advance and cannot register the day of the test. \n\n▪ Exam fees are nonrefundable. \n▪ Exams cannot be rescheduled once a candidate has paid for and committed to a specific date. \n▪ In addition to all other admission requirements (see School Catalog)\, you must have at minimum an associate degree to enter this program. \n▪ If you score well\, this does not guarantee admission to the program. \n▪ Candidates may apply only once for admission to the Radiologic Technology program. \n\nAn Admission Assessment Exam Review book is available for purchase. \nPlease arrive at Hunter by 3:30 p.m. to sign in for a 4:00 p.m. test start time. The exam will take place in Room 5 and may take up to four hours to complete. \nPlease note also that if you arrive late or cannot present a valid photo ID\, you will not be admitted to sit for the exam. You will need your username and password.
