As a precautionary measure to minimize the effects of the coronavirus, Hunter Business School closed for classes on Friday, March 13, to allow staff the opportunity to learn about the new protocols that will take effect when classes resume on Monday.
An outside cleaning company will be present on Saturday to complete a thorough and deep cleaning of the campus.
Beginning Monday, March 16, each classroom will have spray disinfectant and paper towels for wiping down desks, chairs, and keyboards after each use. As always, classrooms will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each day and evening session.
To help us with our efforts to control the coronavirus, we are asking all students who are exhibiting symptoms of the virus to stay home. These are some of the symptoms.
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Dry cough
- Fatigue
We strongly encourage students to obtain clearance from their doctor should they exhibit any of the coronavirus symptoms and will work with each student on an individual basis to determine how to lessen the impact of a student’s absence.
