The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS Test) is a standardized, multiple choice exam for students entering into nursing school. It is often used to determine the ability of potential students to adjust to a nursing program.
The test is created and administered by ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC).
Please arrive at Hunter by 4:30 p.
m. to sign in for a 5 p.m. test start time. The exam may take up to four hours to complete and will be given in room 8. The cost is $90 plus tax. Please call Jada Williams at 516.796.1000, ext. 121, for details, or email her for more information or to ask questions.
Please bring a New York State Division of Motor Vehicles photo ID, which can be either a driver license or non-driver identification card, along with your username and password. Candidates arriving late will not be admitted. See Nursing Entrance Exam Instructions for further information.
Please note that if you arrive late or cannot present a valid photo ID, you will not be admitted to sit for the exam.
