I decided to go back to school at 25 for graphic production art and instead fell in love with painting and decided to major in that instead.
Along with art, I have always loved modern dance, so when I came across a grainy black and white picture of this dancer from the 30’s, I knew that I had to paint it. I did eventually become a graphic print production artist, and I enjoyed that career for many years.
I still love art and am always creating things, but I chose to go to Hunter because I wanted to do something that would allow me to help people. As a medical assistant I found that I really enjoyed working with patients and bringing them comfort.
I decided to further my career and finally became a Certified Medical Assistant. My mom was also a medical assistant, so I guess that I am following in her footsteps.
At the time of this writing, I am an extern at a bariatric surgeon’s office associated with Winthrop-University Hospital.
