Medical Assistant

This program prepares students for entry-level administrative and clinical tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or nurse. This Medical Assistant program can be completed in as little as 7 ½ months. Courses focus on anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, phlebotomy, ECG testing, computerized billing, clinical skills, and medical administrative practices. Most medical assistants work in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and clinics.

Online Medical Office Administration with Billing and Coding

Students in this 5-month program are exposed to accounting, business office administration, medical billing, and coding. Further skills and training prepare students for administrative support while running an efficient and productive medical facility. The administrative skills taught include computer data entry, patient files, filing systems and records, insurance claim filing, and billing and coding. Courses focus on anatomy, physiology, health care administration, electronic medical records, insurance theory, and insurance claims management. Graduates are ready for entry-level positions at hospitals, clinics, and physician’s offices.

Practical Nursing

This 11-month program prepares Practical Nursing students for the NCLEX-PN with courses in body structure and function, pharmacology and dosage calculations, adult health nursing, human growth and development, mental health nursing, pediatrics, and community health. After completing the Practical Nursing program and passing the NCLEX-PN, students become Licensed Practical Nurses.

Hybrid Radiologic Technology

Students in this 16-month hybrid program focus on the fundamentals of radiologic technology, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiographic procedures. Further, students learn about patient care, radiation protection, image analysis, and pathology. Students learn to use radiation to produce images of a patient’s body to detect injuries and diseases.

Hybrid Diagnostic Medical Sonography

In this program, students complete abdominal, OB/GYN, superficial structures, vascular, pediatric, and cardiac sonography classes. Courses focus on CPR, First Aid, vital signs, medical terminology, general and specialized sonography, anatomy and physiology, and clinical externships.

Online Medical Billing Specialist

A fully virtual program that can be completed in just three months. This program prepares students for entry-level roles in medical billing. Courses focus on billing and coding, accounts receivable, insurance billing, patient statements, encounter forms, appointment scheduling, procedure history, payment posting, diagnostic history, and referring doctor information. Further study focuses on the 11 body systems and ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding protocols.

Computer Technician Networking Specialist

This 7 ½ month program prepares students for entry-level computer repair, and networking roles. Students learn to configure, manage, upgrade, and troubleshoot networks and network devices. This program also prepares students for CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams.

Hybrid Web Application Design and Development

This hybrid program can be completed in as little as 7 ½ months with hands-on training in full-stack web development. Students learn how to code and design web and mobile responsive applications. Emphasis is placed on HTML and CSS, programming with JavaScript, jQuery, Python, and Java, database design with SQL, e-commerce and content management systems, web services with Node.js, XML, and JSON, and the fundamentals of digital security and software development life cycle methodology.
