Hunter Business School administers onsite certification exams for Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician through the National Center for Competency Testing. For tests through other certifying agencies with which the school is associated, please see Tracey Maletta, the Medical Assistant program chairperson. Hunter will credit $90 toward the registration fee for any of the Medical Assistant exams as long as the student has achieved attendance of at least 90 percent by the last day of the program, excluding makeup time.
Anyone planning to take the American Association of Medical Assistants or American Medical Technologists Medical Assistant tests or any exams for Medical Billing Specialist must pay any fees not covered by the aforementioned to Audrey Romano.
Students should report to the Career Services office by 3:15 p.m.
