Though the primary goal of school is to begin a new career or change an old one, how you interact with patients, clients, customers, and coworkers is important. Your spirit at school and work goes a long way toward good grades and a healthy professional life. That’s why Hunter’s Student Council sponsors Spirit Week every fall.
The Medford campus is celebrating Spirit Week the week of October 28. Today is Decades Day. Choose your decade, and dress up the way it used to be.
The late 60’s consisted of bright swirls, tie-dye shirts, and long hair. Fringe was also very in outfits.
The 70’s fashion trends were tight pants that flare at the bottom and platform shoes—basically more exaggerated trends from the 60’s.
The 80’s wardrobe included neon colors, bright makeup, teased hair, and bright accessories such as hoop earrings, sunglasses and stacked bangles.
Flannel shirts, baseball caps, and high rise jeans were all part of the 90’s. Loose fitting crop tops were commonly worn by women and hip-hop inspired outfits were worn by men. [The Round Table]
