As Thanksgiving approaches, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for each and every one of you. This year has been full of challenges and uncertainties, but it has also brought us closer as a campus. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the blessings in our lives and to appreciate the people who make a difference. In our case, that means all of you – our students, our friends, and our extended family away from home.
In the spirit of togetherness and gratitude, the Student Council would like to invite you to a special “Friendsgiving” celebration right here on campus. It’s an opportunity for us to come together, share a delicious meal, and create lasting memories. We encourage you to bring a dish from your own cultural background or your family’s traditional Thanksgiving recipes. This way, we can embrace the diversity of our community and learn more about each other’s cultures.
We’re excited to have you join us for this special occasion, and we hope it will be an opportunity for you to relax, enjoy the company of friends, and build new connections within our campus. If your dish is HOT, please list HOT next to your dish. Our celebration will last from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., so everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the festivities. You can certainly collaborate with a fellow classmate if you find it hard to pick something to make/bring.
Thanksgiving is a time to count our blessings, and one of the greatest blessings we have is the wonderful group of students and friends we have here. Let’s come together to celebrate and share the warmth and unity that make our Medford campus so special.
Looking forward to seeing you there and sharing this joyful occasion with all of you.
Wishing you a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving season!
